Orders

Placing an Order

Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on JustDesks' web site. On-line ordering is straightforward and convenient; simply click the “Add to Cart” button from any product page on the web site and then follow the subsequent instructions.

If you’d like to place your order by phone, JustDesks' Design Consultants are available to assist you 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (eastern).

Payment and Sales Tax

Presently, JustDesks accepts credit card payments from Visa, Master Card and American Express. Personal and cashier's checks and wire transfers are also accepted.

Because JustDesks operates in New Jersey, we are required to collect 7% sales tax on orders shipped to a New Jersey address. Those who live outside New Jersey will not be charged sales tax for orders placed on New Jersey, but may want to consult applicable tax laws in their state.

Order Status/My Account

If you’d like to check the status of your order, we encourage you to refer to your order confirmation where you will find the lead time for the items you ordered. Please note that the lead times reflected are for the production time needed to complete your items. Delivery of furniture may require up to three weeks additionally to the lead time as JustDesks specializes in-home furniture carriers take great pride in transporting and delivering your items safely.

International Orders

At this time, JustDesks cannot ship items outside the 48 contiguous states. We do, however, encourage customers who live outside the continental US (including Hawaii and Alaska, AFO/FPO addresses, Puerto Rico, and Canada) to consult with a freight forwarding company. JustDesks is happy to ship items to freight forwarding companies within the US that can then ship items to international destinations.

Security and Privacy

We understand your concerns regarding privacy and designed this policy as part of our strong commitment to you. Cookies are used on the site to help customers access and track items in their shopping cart. A cookie is sent to the individual to identify them when they return to the site for the purpose of viewing items left in their shopping cart.

When registering as a member of JustDesks, we may ask you to provide certain details about yourself. We do this in order to offer you a full range of information, products and services. To register as a member, we will ask you to provide your name, email address and mailing address. We will use this information to notify you of site changes at JustDesks and provide you with valuable offers from JustDesks and our Partners. All newsletters and promotional emails have an "opt-out" feature. When you order products, we will also need your billing and shipping information. This information should be as accurate as possible because we will use it for all contact, billing and shipping purposes respective to your enjoyment of JustDesks.

Because members and their privacy are top priority at JustDesks, we use the most secure transaction software available. All credit card orders on JustDesks are processed on a secure server. Any credit card or other personal information you provide JustDesks is protected by encryption using Secure Socket Layer Protocol (SSL). Only JustDesks can decrypt this secure information. Terms and Conditions

When you complete JustDesks member registration process, you agree to all of the terms herein. JustDesks may update these terms and will notify you via our monthly newsletter or a prominent posting on this customer service page. Your continued use of JustDesks after such notification indicates that you accept any and all changes. Users who do not subscribe to our newsletter are encouraged to check this page periodically for any changes.

Our artisans' rates and offerings may change from time to time. As a result, prices and availability of items in our collection, including those saved in your My Favorites folder, are subject to change until orders are placed. When placing orders, charges reflected in your Shopping Cart, including merchandise prices, are subject to correction in the event of calculation or printing errors. If a pricing error occurs, JustDesks will contact you before proceeding with your order.

JustDesks is fortunate to work with artisans from around the world to create a unique collection of exceptional children’s furnishings. Many items in our collection, though crafted by different artisans, are paired in our Designer Rooms. Finish and fabric colors of these items may not be an exact match, thus adding to the charm of the design.

Shipping time frames reflected in product descriptions are based on estimates from our artisans. JustDesks reserves the right to amend product information and shipping schedules due to artisan delays, changing conditions and product discontinuations. In the event of a shipping delay, JustDesks will notify you promptly and cannot be held responsible for shipping delays beyond estimated delivery times.

While the JustDesks team works diligently to review the safety of all products, JustDesks cannot be liable for accidents resulting in personal injury that involve a product purchased on the site. In addition, JustDesks is not responsible for copyright, registration or licensing infringement of products sold on the site.

Shipping Methods and Charges

All desk orders require special consideration in shipping and delivery. Because these items are large and heavy, we must ship them via Standard Delivery with special in-home furniture carriers. As a result, these oversized items incur a Standard Delivery shipping surcharge in addition to the regular shipping charges noted below. Shipping surcharges are noted on an item's product page and in your Shopping Cart.

Furniture that is shipped with an in-home delivery service via Standard Delivery will be placed inside the main threshold of the home. Because of our commitment to exceptional customer service, JustDesks also offers Premier Delivery for many oversized items in our collection. Upon delivery, the Premier Delivery carrier will unpack, place these furnishings in the room of your choice and discard the packing materials for you. (Assembly service is not provided.) If Premier Delivery is available for an item, it will be presented as an option on an item's product page. The furniture carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery time. Deliveries are scheduled within a four-hour window. If you are unable to meet the delivery driver at your scheduled appointment time, please call in advance to reschedule your delivery. If delivery cannot be scheduled within 10 days, applicable storage fees will be added to the shipping cost and applied to your credit card.

Standard shipping Charges are based on the total price of an order and outlined below:

Price of item: $250.00 and Up
Shipping Cost: 12% of item cost

How to Receive Your Shipment

If you have ordered furniture from JustDesks, your order may be shipped via an in-home freight carrier. Most carriers schedule deliveries Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

You must be present to receive, inspect and sign for your delivery. Please DO NOT arrange to have shipments dropped off when no one is home. When the carrier contacts you, please make note of the company’s name and phone number. This will be very helpful if you need to contact them for any reason. It is essential that you contact the carrier should you need to reschedule your delivery appointment. If you chose Premier Delivery, the delivery agent(s) will place your item(s) in the room of your choice, unpack the furnishings and remove the packaging from your home. Unfortunately, assembly service is not offered at this time. Should the delivery agent not perform all aspects of the Premier Delivery service you ordered, please contact JustDesks Toll Free 1-888-543-7440 at the time of delivery so that we may assist you.

JustDesks employees take great care in packaging your order to ensure safe transport to your home. Although these items are packaged properly, in some instances transit-related damage may occur. It is imperative that you inspect your order carefully when it arrives. Take the time to personally note any damage to your furniture and to the packing materials on the delivery receipt. Do not sign the shipping documents without recording details of transit damage. (For example: the furniture is scratched, dented, cracked and the box is crushed on the top corner, punctured or wet.) Allowing the delivery agent to notate any damages will interfere with our ability to file a damage claim on your behalf.

Upon inspection, if you find that your merchandise is damaged, you may choose to refuse the delivery. Damages must be reported to JustDesks at the time of delivery by calling us Toll Free 1-888-543-7440. JustDesks will be unable to assist you in repair or replacement of damaged merchandise if it is not thoroughly inspected and documented as described above, and if not reported to JustDesks within 3 days of delivery.

Freight companies are instructed to deliver items during the time frame scheduled with you, our customer. However, if you find that your furnishing(s) were delivered when you are not at home, please do not move the boxes. Contact JustDesks immediately for further instructions.

Returns

Cancellations/Returns

JustDesks strives to provide our customers with the highest quality merchandise and a great shopping experience. Since all desk orders are all made to order cancellations must be received within 24 hours of your order date to receive a full refund. All desks orders placed with JustDesks that are cancelled after the 24 hour period will incur a 5% charge back fee to your credit card. Returns will be assessed only if the merchandise is defected or damaged. JustDesks cannot accept any returns or exchanges for any of these special ordered desks, all sales are final.

Since all of our desks are custom ordered, we require payment in full upon ordering.  Because artisans craft these items to your specifications, JustDesks cannot accept returns of these custom desks.

Warranty Information

JustDesks  upholds the warranties offered by the manufactures who craft our furnishings. Because the scope and duration of our manufacturers’ warranties vary, we encourage you to ask  JustDesks customer service for specific warranty information on products of interest.

Our Prices are the Lowest Online - Guaranteed! We want you to be confident when you buy from JustDesks that you are getting the lowest price possible, so we offer this guarantee: if you find the same item at a lower price, email us or call us. We will meet or beat any competitor’s price!

The following conditions apply:

  • Item must be sold by an authorized US distributor and does not apply to Ebay sales, close-outs, misprints, special buys, special promotions, or liquidations.
  • Price must be advertised and published for general public.
  • Valid on retail price of item only.
  • Request must be made within three business days of your purchase.
